Visual Element Analysis and Categorization for Revit
Works with Revit 2019–2026. All commands are AI-ready for the RevitAI chatbot.
Group and color-code any Revit element by any parameter — in seconds. Create isolated 3D views, apply parametric filters, or apply direct color overrides.
Key Capabilities
Isolated 3D Views
Generate a separate 3D isometric view for each unique parameter value — perfect for reviewing elements by level, type, phase, or any other parameter.
Parametric Filters
Create persistent Revit filters for each parameter group with automatic color coding. Filters remain in the model and update dynamically when element parameters change.
Direct Color Overrides
Apply instant graphics overrides to elements in the current view — each parameter group gets a unique random color for immediate visual analysis.
Smart Parameter Detection
Automatically detects all categories with editable parameters in the active view. Supports all Revit parameter types including Integer, Double, String, and ElementId.
AI Tool Integration
All four commands are available as AI tools for the RevitAI chatbot — use natural language to analyze, group, and visualize elements without navigating the ribbon.
Revit 2019–2026
Full multi-version support across 8 Revit versions using a shared project architecture with conditional compilation for API differences.
Visualization Modes
Create Isolated 3D Views
One view per parameter value, named AVLP_ISOLATED_{Value}_{Category}. Each view shows only matching elements — ideal for coordination review meetings.
Apply Filters
Creates a named Revit filter per parameter value with a random color override. Filters persist in the model and update automatically when element parameters change.
Apply Overrides
Direct graphics overrides in the current view — color-codes elements and hides all others. Fast visual analysis without creating new views or persistent filters.
